Reference implementation · method v1.4

Run the method yourself.

Set a value for each of the 16 capability cells and 5 momentum readings. The page updates the score, band, primary stage, local and systemic root-cause readings, and the capability-versus-momentum comparison. No values are sent or stored by this page. Close the tab and the values are gone.

This page runs the arithmetic, not the questionnaire. The full instrument asks 37 questions and derives these values from the answers. The question bank may vary by business model and maturity. The grid, scales and arithmetic do not, within the stated method version. That fixed layer is what allows results to be compared within the method's stated scope. Use this page to check that the published rules produce the published outputs before anyone completes the instrument.

Capability · 16 cells

Set each value against what is evidenced and consistently practised today, not what the team intends to do.

The problem lens shown is the documented default mapping. The full rule precedence, thresholds and cell-level explanations are part of the licensed layer and are not published.

What this page proves

  • It’s deterministic. Set the same values twice and you get the same result. There's no model in the scoring path and there never will be.
  • It is reproducible by hand. The score and component values come from the six arithmetic steps published in the method. There is no additional scoring logic between these inputs and outputs.
  • The published arithmetic does not weight scores by sector or company size. Results should be compared only within the method's stated version, scope and conditions.
  • The arithmetic and the diagnosis layer are separate. Load the worked example: Expand scores lowest, but the documented precedence points to another stage. That precedence is part of the licensed layer.
